Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani in his campaign appearances this year has stated that he personally abhors abortion, even though he supports keeping a legal right to choose. But records show that in the '90s he contributed money at least six times to Planned Parenthood, one of the country's leading abortion rights groups and its top provider of abortions.

Ireland, which virtually bans abortion, reportedly has a lifetime rate of breast cancer of only 1 in 13, nearly half the rate of 1 in 7.5 in the United States.[13] The rate of breast cancer increases steadily as one travels from Ireland, where abortion is illegal, to Northern Ireland, where abortion is legal but rare, to England, where abortion is common. The provisions of this section apply to a physician providing or prescribing for a woman a drug to induce an abortion. This section prohibits the physician who is considering performing the abortion or the referring physician from delegating to another person the performance of any of the informed consent requirements of this section, except as expressly stated in this section or 18 Pa.C.S. Section 3205.
