Recently, a new type of abortion has found its way onto the market: Post-Birth Abortion. Post-Birth Abortion (PBA), is an economic alternative to the traditional abortion. While traditional abortions make use of complicated procedures, PBA is rather simple: use a surgical saw, and brutally kill the post-embryo living tissue which now resides outside the womb. This is usually acheived by sending the post-birth embryo (an actual baby in this case) to live in Africa. This wombless post-embryo living tissue could reside anywhere from the mountains of Tibet to the Oval Office and could weight anywhere from 8 oz. to over 80,000 tons. The merciless abortion doctors, which are sometimes not doctors at all, carry out this brutal act of killing a few thousand living cells without a shred of remorse.

In early American history, abortion was more dangerous than childbirth, which was lifeâ€threatening itself. Lawmakers who regulated sexual activity in minute detail saw no need to make abortion a crime. When medical advances made abortion safer in the nineteenth century, some states forbade abortion primarily to protect pregnant women. Other early antiâ€abortion laws were essentially elements of state obscenity statutes, often called “little Comstock laws.†These laws, similar to the 1873 federal Comstock Act, included contraceptives and abortifacients among the forbidden “obscene†materials. Early in the twentieth century, reformers like Margaret Sanger began to promote birth control as a means of limiting family size, especially for the poor.

If the surgical abortion is done after 12 weeks of pregnancy, the doctor must first open (dilate) the cervical canal. Small sticks called laminaria are placed into the cervix to cause it to open. Sometimes, this is done a day or two before the actual abortion procedure. The doctor will insert a hollow tube into the womb before using the vacuum to remove the tissues (fetus and placenta) from the womb. You may receive medicines to make the uterine muscles contract. This reduces bleeding.

A victory celebration will be underway tonight as citizens in Aurora celebrate the fact that they have at least delayed the opening of the largest abortion center in the United States. Today a federal judge stopped Planned Parenthood of Aurora from opening as scheduled tomorrow. The massive Planned Parenthood facility applied for a building permit under false pretences and outraged the community. Led by the Pro-Life Action League, thousands have protested outside the yet-to-be opened facility for the last month attracting the attention of the international media. "Today's court action demonstrates that truth still matters in America. This is exactly what we've been praying for these past 40 days, that Planned Parenthood would not open on September 18," said Eric Scheidler of the Pro-Life Action League, "We trust that the judge will allow Aurora to fully investigate how Planned Parenthood tried to come into town without disclosing who they were and their plans to perform abortions.

The Department of Health and the Department of State enforce several provisions of the Abortion Control Act. Both agencies will apply the provisions of the Act for which they are responsible to drug-induced abortions.

Cigarettes are not only the overall No. 1 cause of premature death, they ... have a role in abortion. The cigarette-abortion link occurs because of cigarettes' numerous toxic chemicals. The safe cigarettes act, MCL § 750.27, MSA § 28.216, bans unsafe cigarettes. It forbids "any person within the state" from action that "manufactures, sells or gives to anyone, any cigarette containing any ingredient deleterious to health or foreign to tobacco . . . ." Please, as an abortion prevention measure, take "cease and desist" action to stop the rampant violations of the law. "Cease and desist" action is an action you take in other state-wide law violation cases. Please, as an abortion prevention measure, do that in this situation.
