Does Aaron Baddeley actually adopt this perfectly centralised address posture in his "real-life" new swing when hitting a mid-iron? He does not! Here is an address posture photo-comparison of his new swing (derived from the swing videos published by GD in conjunction with their article) and his old swing (derived from swing videos from 2006).
To his credit, Baddeley clenched the controls after No. 1 -- for a little bit. He made five consecutive pars on Nos. 2-6. But then, what started as a small outbreak on No. 1 turned into a full-blown epidemic on holes 7-11, as he made double bogey, bogey, par, bogey and bogey in succession to slam the door vehemently on any remaining chances.
Baddeley has a good head on his shoulders. His demeanor has been very humble and confident all week. He’s not getting baited into talking about the golf course. He knows it’s up to him.

"I would say night and day to be honest, absolutely," said Baddeley, talking about the difference in his ball-striking. "I honestly feel that my driving is actually one of my strengths now, where it was never like that."
