Country singer/songwriter Aaron Lines scores a #1 single with his smash hit “Cheaper to Keep Her”. “It was always one of my favorites that I'd written for the new CD”, states Lines,“I played it for my wife, sisters and mother as well as some guy friends of mine and they all liked it. So I thought it was safe to put it out there and see what the rest of the world thought. It feels great that people have responded so well to it.”

In March of 1997, Aaron performed during a Backstreet Boys' concert in Berlin, Germany, and he stole the show! After the concert, he was offered a record contract on the spot by an Edel Record Company executive who saw him perform, and in the fall of 1997, he released his first single, "Crush On You." He followed that with "Crazy Little Party Girl," "I'm Gonna Miss You Forever" and "Shake It," all of which became very popular overseas.

Aaron Lines spent this past Saturday September 8, meeting and entertaining soldiers and their families during an “Operation Hope” fundraising event for the United States Pentagon. The event held on Fort Carson Army Post in Colorado Springs, Colorado, houses 30,000 soldiers and their families and has had the highest number of casualties from the Iraq war of any military base in the U.S. numbering in the 1000’s.

In the late 1990s, Aaron decided to continue with his individual career. When he was in the middle of the recording of his album, he suffered a car accident that almost killed him, his wife and children. He recovered surprisingly, and finally released his debut album titled Imagine, in 2000.
