Aamir Khan's directorial debut - Taare Zameen Par - bagged six key awards at the Nokia 14th Annual Star Screen Awards, Mumbai. Aamir shared the Best Director award for the film with Shimit Amin for Chak De! India starring Shah Rukh Khan. He additionally won awards for Best Supporting Actor and for Best Dialogues.

Looks like the combo star power of Aamir Khan and Kajol is doing its magic even before the release of Fanaa. Looking at their onscreen chemistry and hype about the film, some of the foreign promoters have signed the two up to do a series of stage shows in the US.
