A Dirty Shame isn't able to sustain itself for its brief running time. The same joke, people getting hit on the head and turning into sex addicts, gets repeated over and over again. Ultimately, the movie falls apart completely into a chaotic mess with no rhyme or reason and a grand finale that's more puzzling than anything else. But it is an improvement over Cecil B. Demented, so that's something anyway.
