1. Celsius -- Degrees Celsius
   Anders Celsius was the first to perform and publish careful experiments aiming at the definition of an international temperature scale on scientific grounds. In his Swedish paper "Observations of two persistent degrees on a thermometer" he reports on experiments to check that the freezing point is independent of latitude (and of atmospheric pressure). He determined the dependence of the boiling of water with atmospheric pressure (in excellent agreement with modern data). He further gave a rule for the determination of the boiling point if the barometric pressure deviates from a certain standard pressure[1].
2. University of Richmond -- Arts Degree
   The University of Richmond has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 3,000 students, equally divided between women and men. There are approximately 1,000 full- and part-time graduate students in law, business, and arts and sciences, plus an additional 1,000 full- and part-time undergraduate students in the School of Continuing Studies. Degrees are offered in 45 undergraduate fields and professional/interdisciplinary programs. The student/faculty ratio is 10:1 in the undergraduate divisions. There are 303 full-time faculty at all ranks; 226 are full time at the assistant level or above, and 98 percent of these hold a Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree.
3. Nick Lachey -- Albums
   Other band members were his brother Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons. 98 Degrees have released 4 albums to date. Their debut album was the self-titled 98 Degrees... the band's first real success came with their follow up album 98 Degrees and Rising. Other albums include This Christmas and Revelation. In 2002, they released a compilation album "The Collection." Since the release of "The Collection" 98 Degrees has sold over 10 million records.
4. Nick Lachey -- Lachey and Simpson
   Both Lachey and Simpson had a series of failures in the music industry: Lachey faded off the map after 98 Degrees, and Simpson had low sales in both albums Irresistible and In This Skin. They needed some heavy promotion to push their careers further and Simpson's father, Joe Simpson, had the idea for a reality show that followed their newly married life together.
5. Mandy Moore -- Years
   'N Sync, Lopez, O'Donnell, Moore and Muniz are among this year's nominees. Other top celebrities appearing in this year's show include Robert DeNiro, Mel Gibson, Will Smith, Ray Romano, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bill Goldberg, Jamie Foxx, Scott Foley, Seth Green, Leslie Bibb, Carly Pope, Melissa Joan Hart, LFO, 98 Degrees, Ben Savage, Rider Strong, Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, Lindsay Felton, and Steve Burns.
6. Restless Heart -- Songs
   Along with other musical guests, Restless Heart contributed their talents to Autry's songs on the Centennial Tribute to Gene Autry "Boots Too Big To Fill" album which was released in October 2007. RH did "That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine", which was the first record in history to be certified gold for having sold more than a million copies. The year was 1931.
7. Nick Lachey -- Cincinnati School
   Nick Lachey never wanted to be famous. He wanted to be a football player. Problem was, his mother didn't approve of football and its inherent bone-snapping possibilities. So she kept him from playing until he was in ninth grade. Undeterred, Lachey organized neighborhood pickup games and worked on his sprints. Then, when he hit sixth grade, his younger brother Drew came home with the news that he had been accepted into a performing-arts school.
8. Nick Lachey -- Jessica Simpson
   Nicholas Scott Nick Lachey was a member, alongside his brother Drew Lachey, of the boy band 98 Degrees. He later married pop singer Jessica Simpson, and together they star in the MTV reality show Newlyweds.
9. Jessica Simpson -- Songs
   European promotion for Autobiography and "Pieces of Me" began in September 2004; Simpson appeared on several television shows to perform the song there. "Shadow" was not released in Europe (although it was the second single in Australia), where "La La" was the second single. Shortly after the Orange Bowl incident, Simpson performed the song on several television shows in the UK in January 2005; "La La" debuted and peaked just outside the top ten, and sales of Autobiography ... rose considerably during the same period.
10. Nick Lachey -- Los Angeles
    LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Jive recording artist Nick Lachey is set to perform the Diane Warren penned track "Ordinary Day" on Oprah Wednesday, December 5. "Ordinary Day" will be featured in promo spots on an upcoming Harpo production.
