42nd Street Originally a 1933 Busby Berkeley film staring Ruby Keeler and Dick Powell, 42nd Street was then successfully adapted for the stage in 1980 and has had several major revivals since. With a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, lyrics by Al Dubin, and music by Harry Warren this is a nostalgic look at the great depression and the world of show business.

The screening at the Empire 25 theatre on 42nd Street will be hosted by the Panamanian Ambassador to the United Nations, Ricardo Alberto Arias, who has invited all permanent representatives and observers to the U.N. to see this special advance showing of the film which will be released in theaters nationwide on January 20, 2006.
