Confidence in the efficacy and safety of FINQUEL MS-222 use is so great that in 1997 the product was used to anesthetize every hatchery reared juvenile steelhead trout in the Pacific Northwest for the purpose of fin clipping. Fin clipping is a management tool used to identify "hatchery" steelhead, allowing fisherman to retain fish of hatchery origin and release fish with intact fins (steelhead from natural reproduction) to help preserve native fish populations. The program is scheduled to be expanded to include hatchery coho salmon. In these and numerous local enhancement programs the use of FINQUEL MS-222 is a valuable tool to help in the rehabilitation of watersheds and their native fish populations, including fish which are to be listed as threatened or endangered salmon species.

Café des Artistes, Guadalupe Sánchez 740, (52-3) 222-3229, is a sumptuous, elegant place. The grandfather of Thierry Blouet, the proprietor, managed the Hotel George V in Paris; Mr. Blouet’s parents were ... hoteliers in France, and these bloodlines show. The marriage of classic French cuisine and Mexican ingredients includes prawn and pumpkin soup, shrimp and lobster risotto with wild mushrooms, filet mignon wrapped in blue agave with foie gras, shallots and a pasilla chile sauce; superb cheeses and desserts. A three-course dinner for two, with wine, is about $90. Reservations, which can be made online at www .cafedesartistes.com, are suggested.

A converted 222 first flew as the prototype 230 on August 12, 1991. Transport Canada awarded certification in March 1992, and the first production 230 was delivered that November. The 230 had optional skid or wheel undercarriage. Production ended in 1995 with 38 having been built, being replaced in Bell's lineup by the stretched, more powerful Bell 430.[1]

The 222 is their top of the line downhill bike ridden by their top riders. Greg Minnaar, Mick Hannah, Missy Giove, and Cesar Rojo of Team Global Racing are just a few riders that are kicking butt on this bike.
