A touring exhibition using material from the Hall-Carpenter Archives and LAGNA about the period leading up to the 1967 Act and what life was like for gay people before and after this watershed year. The exhibition toured the Greater London area throughout 2007 and reached a diverse range of communities, to raise awareness of gay history and the significance of the 1967 Act. Further dates in 2008 are being planned.

The only dates minted between 1932 and decimalisation were 1957 to 1959, and then 1967 to 1968. these dates all bear the first portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as used on almost all pre-decimal coins, with the familiar St. George & Dragon design on the reverse.

Beginning at 5:00 pm ET January 21 Thompson will play Dr. King's August 16, 1967 speech, "Where Do We Go From Here?" This speech is one of King's last addresses and is considered to be one of his most radical. Thompson will provide commentary throughout to illustrate the significance and meaning of Dr. King's words to listeners.
