Based in Mississippi, he works on international business matters, is involved in political campaigns, and serves on various corporate and charitable boards. Previously, he served as Governor of the U.S. state of Mississippi from 1988 to 1992 as a Democrat and as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from 1994 to 1996.
