The School of Dentistry was founded in 1863, and became affiliated with Temple University in 1907. It is the second-oldest dental school in continuous operation in the United States. One hundred twenty-five students are enrolled in the freshman class each year. The School has fully accredited graduate programs for the following specialties: orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, and advanced education in general dentistry. Seattle entrepreneur James E. Casey was only 19 in 1907 when he borrowed $100 to create a delivery service he called the American Messenger Company. He and his friends ran errands and delivered packages and trays of food. Most deliveries were done on foot, with longer trips made via bicycle. A Model T Ford was added six years later and the name was changed to Merchants Parcel Delivery. By 1919, the company had expanded beyond Seattle and was renamed United Parcel Service.

Based in Clementon, NJ, approximately 15 miles from downtown Philadelphia, Clementon Lake Park was founded in 1907, making it one of the oldest operating amusement parks in the United States. The park had been owned by the family of Larry Baker since 1977. Clementon Lake Park is situated on approximately 55 acres of land and features both amusement park rides and a water park. The park has historically been open from Memorial Day until Labor Day and currently serves approximately 250,000 people annually.

The California Land Title Association (CLTA) is a non-profit corporation founded in 1907 and will proudly celebrate its 100th anniversary this year. The Association's membership is comprised of title insurance companies and underwritten title companies conducting business throughout the state of California. The goals of the CLTA include expediting the transfer and insurance of title to real property throughout California, increasing the public's awareness of the value and purpose of title insurance, and protecting private property rights.
