The Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation proudly offers the 1901 Society! This program is expressly for undergraduates, and asks for annual contributions of only $19.01 during college years. Upon registration into the 1901 Society each sister will be awarded a special dangle to wear proudly with her badge. For each subsequent renewal an additional dangle will be awarded to indicate the number of years she has been a member of 1901. Four dangles will be awarded in the following order: a single heart, a double heart, a dollar sign, and the final coveted “1901” dangle. All monies raised through the 1901 Society will go towards unrestricted funds, which help support many educational programs of the sorority.
Not many things can help stir a family history hunters heart more than the first release of the 1901 census. But, let's not forget about the other records out there. The Commission's report, submitted to the governor on February 18, 1901 and to the legislature a few days later, proposed a new tenement act. So effective was the CSO and the Tenement House Commission that a new law was passed with great rapidity. On April 12, 1901, only two months after the Commission issued its report, the Tenement House Act of 1901 became law.

1901-S Barber Quarter The 1901-S Barber Quarter is the key date of the set, and ... the rarest 20th Century regular issue minor U.S. coin. It is very valuable in all grades, and fakes (mostly made by adding an "S" to a 1901) outnumber genuine specimens, especially in lower grades.

Dean Joan G. Wexler created the 1901 Society in 1999 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Law School’s founding. The 1901 Society is a venerable “Who’s Who” of Brooklyn Law School, with members representing a wide range of backgrounds and careers in private practice, government, business and industry. Conceived as a way to strengthen the Annual Fund, the 1901 Society provides opportunities for its members to meet and network with other high level professionals.
