Kasey Kahne has been racing in multiple series for the majority of his life, but in 2004 he got the chance to join the Nextel Cup Series. He didn't win any races that year, but he did get the honor of being the Rookie of the Year. In 2005, Kahne came in first at one race, had five top 5s and eight top 10s. This car was raced for 160 laps on August 7, 2005 at the Allstate 400 race at the Brickyard. Everyone might remember that race as the one where Tony Stewart finally got his Indianapolis win, but no one should forget how Kahne finished close by in second place! Kahne led 39 laps that day, but Stewart led 44 and captured the victory.
