Magneto is a mutant, born with the superhuman power to control magnetism. He can control existing magnetic fields or generate them within himself. Magneto’s power seems limitless. He once lifted a cargo freighter weighing 30,000 tons 50 feet into the air from a distance of 300 feet away. He has, at times, manipulated other forms of energy that are part of the electro-magnetic spectrum.
