The Alliant Energy Fifth Season 5K Fun Run/Walk is a non-competitive event giving you the chance to get out with friends, stretch your legs, and enjoy an Iowa morning. Participants in the 5K Fun Run/Walk will share the course with the 8K runners winding their way back downtown for a finish alongside the runners on May's Island. Participants receive a Brooks brand moisture management shirt valued at $20, course entertainment, and fabulous post-race party. Entry fee is $23-$32 depending on date of entry.
