Richard Greene is a leading bluegrass/newgrass fiddler who has served stints with everyone from Bill Monroe to newgrass mandolin player David Grisman. Along the way, he founded a couple of influential ensembles of his own, including the groundbreaking folk-rock band, Sea Train, and a jazz/folk/rock/chamber outfit called the Greene String Quartet.
