Kinross Gold is a Canadian-based gold producer with mines located in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Chile and Russia. It completed a merger with TVX Gold and Echo Bay end of January 2003. Kinross' Latin American interests include La Coipa, Cerra Casale and Refugio in Chile and Crixas and Paracatu mines in Brazil.
