Losman was taken out in the first play from scrimmage when he was given a shot in the knee with a late hit by Vince Wilfork. Losman was in definite pain and was hobbling around with an injured knee. However, Losman stayed in and the next time he went back to pass, was blindsided by Ellis Hobbs, and Losman not only got hurt worse, but fumbled the ball to the Pats, which turned into a Patriot field goal.
