Bishop FM is a community radio station set up in Bishop Auckland to meet the needs of local residents. Run entirely by volunteers, the station recently completed a four week trial on FM and hopes with the aid of a community licence to extend its reach by broadcasting on FM in 2008. A selection of live programmes continue on the internet every week.
