Manowar might be the Godfathers of both the true metal, and the US power metal movement. And 'Battle Hymns' is where it all started (not counting demos). And like everything else with this band, they did it with all guns blazing. What more can be said about this band that isn't already in a song like "Metal Daze"? To quote themselves: "Heavy Metal, as loud as it can be"! 'Nuff said!
