In accordance with IRS Publication 1220 for Tax Year 2006 (Specification for Filing Forms 1098, 1099, 5498, and W-2G Magnetically or Electronically), the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is participating in the Combined Federal/State Filing Program. Participation in the Combined Federal/State Filing Program eliminates the requirement to separately file certain types of Form 1099 magnetic media to DOR.
