French actress Isabelle Huppert is arunner-up for the Best Actress award at the ROMA FilmFest. She appears in Hidden Love, a film made by Italian director Alessandro Capone, screened in competition. Ms. Huppert plays Danielle, a woman who has never been quite able to build a relationship with her daughter and after a third suicide attempt Danielle is placed under psychiatric observation in a private clinic. The Slovak audience knows Isabelle Huppert from her appearances in Madame Bovary, The Bedroom Window, The Piano Player, and 8 Women. One of the most unique faces of European cinema, Ms. Huppert was aspeacial guest to the 15th International Artfilm Festival, receiving the Actor’s Mission Award. This year, the actress was noted at the Venice IFF in Tonino De Bernardi’s Medea Miracle.
