Since 1992, Quetzalcoatl has been a leading member of and are sponsored by the educational project Music Center on Tour of the Music Center Educational Division, Music Center of Los Angeles. The group performs at approximately 8 - 12 schools per year under the auspices of this program. Many of these schools request repeat performances by Quetzalcoatl year after year. The Music Center on Tour program is one of the most prestigious in the U.S. Its performing artists / members are among the very best in the field. Acceptance to this program is rigorous and the process is a long one.
