The new musical, ''Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life,'' is a celebration of the life and the illustrious career of Chita Rivera. Her musical oeuvre includes Bajour, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink, West Side Story, Bye Bye Birdie,and Chicago among other major hits. Chita is a part of the cast herself along with other ten members of the cast. It includes Richard Amaro, Malinda Farrington, Cleve Asbury, Edgard Gallardo, Lloyd Culbreath, Madeleine Ehlert and Deidre Goodwin among others. The play is a time travel to some of her earlier performances. The play features songs by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens.
