Dadaism is a modernistic trend. The beginnings of Dadaistic group in 1916 was connected with the opening of club “Volter Cabaret” in Zurich. Nobody knows what does the notion “Dadaism” mean. Anyway it is something senseless, which became the name of the whole artistic trend. Absolute nihilism of Dadaism was not senseless, it was provoked by the war in Europe 1914-1918.
