Daveigh Chase, born Daveigh Elizabeth Schwallier, is an American actress and voice over artist. A versatile young performer, she scared audiences worldwide with her creepy portrayal of Samara Morgan in the successful thriller The Ring (2002), from which she took home a MTV Movie Award.
